What we collect
- Your name and email, from email sign-up, Google or Sign in with Apple.
- Your practice sessions: what you say or type to the patient, your answers, and your scores.
- Voice recordings, only while you hold the mic button. They are turned into text on our server and deleted straight away. We never keep the audio.
How we use it
Only to run the app: to play the patient, mark your station and show your progress. Patient and examiner replies are written by an AI model (Anthropic Claude). The text of your session is sent to it for that purpose and is not used to train it.
No ads, no tracking, no selling or sharing of your data. Offline cases are stored on your device.
Deleting your data
Settings, then Delete account, removes your account and every session at once. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Not medical advice
Bedside is a study tool for medical students. All patients are fictional and nothing in it is advice about real patients.
